[ The PC Guide | Systems and Components Reference Guide | Keyboards ] Special Keyboard Features and Accessories As I've mentioned, today's keyboard market is much more "wide open" than in the early days of the PC. You have many more choices and options in terms of what keyboard design you decide to purchase and use. The market has also spawned a wide variety of special keyboard features, and accessories you can use with your keyboard to solve various problems. In this section I take a look at some special features and optional accessories usually associated with keyboards, or sold with them. First is a brief discussion of cordless keyboards. Then I talk about some of the funky integrated peripherals occasionally seen build into keyboards. I then discuss connector adapters and other accessories, and finally, ergonomic support devices.
