There are a couple of vendors of memory that have useful information resource areas that you may want to examine:

  • Chipworks Parts Archive: This page contains links to a couple of pages listing specific DRAM part numbers by manufacturer. Very useful if you need to identify the type of memory your system is using based on the part numbers written on the DRAM chips.
  • Kingston Technology: Kingston is a major manufacturer of memory modules. Their technical support site contains some useful info.
