Tip Of The Day For September 14, 2001:
Given everything that has transpired in the last few days, it's extremely difficult to
turn one's attention to what seem like the small things--and to me, given the magnitude of
current events, that seems to include everything technology-related. There does not seem
to be a way for me to express any sort of tip here that would come across as anything but
trivial to many, in light of the last 72 hours. So I guess the only tip I will provide for
you this time is to always remember to cherish the really important people and aspects of
your life, and know how important it is to look at the big picture. I hope you will
forgive my momentary lapse into what may seem like corny philosophy, but broken
peripherals and general protection faults just don't seem that important this week...
