I have a Samtron 77V we bought it with our Compaq 5000 series, im not sure of what grade the monitor is (Business, Graphics or w/e), but when i play games, ONLY WHEN I PLAY GAMES, there is a lil reddish weird lookin line on the right side, also sometimes are REALLY slight one in the center, you CAN see them but you do have to look, they arent really a problem but i wanted to know if anyone had any problems similar to this one. I though it might be releated to my Geforce 2 MX 400,i though maybe that was too intense for my monitor. Well thats about it BTW im runnin XP, i dont have XP drivers i have 2K drivers. I have checked www.samtron.com and they dont even have anything about my monitor at all. I see how well you guys replay to everyone elses topics and it makes me feel good that there is still forums left where people will actually go out and do a lil research for you to help, thnx for any help that you provide

Not really sure it is the monitor....could possibley be the video card drivers, sometimes with the nVidia cards you need to play around with different drivrs to find one that behaves well with all your hardware. If you haven't already, try one of the latest Detontator series from here...

i have the 27.70 drivers did the same thing with the official 23.11 drivers

Thanks ill try that, I know a website where you can get drivers from a couple stages back ill try that and tell you how it works, the weird thing is that it is only in gaming video modes, like Direct 3D and Open GL. Ill go try that, Ill tell you if it helps

THANK YOU GUYS SO SO SO SO SO MUCH THAT LIL RED LINE IS GONE IM CURRENTLY DOWNLOADING DRIVERS NOW TO GET THE MOST UPDATED ONES THAT WONT GIVE ME THE LIL LINE IS GONE. IM GOIN TO COME TO THESE FORUMS ALL THE TIME THANK YOU GUYS SO SO SO MUCH.

OK i guess it was just the 27.70 drivers b/c i upgraded to the 28.32 drivers and there is still no line, so i guess it was just 27.70 drivers not the only thing that sux is that the Windows XP/2K refresh rate fix doesnt work for that driver
ill just wait until they update the refresh fix well guyz thanks again

Now i found a new problem i fixed the line with games, BTW was the most annoying thing, with 28.32 drivers from Nvidia i get no line in games but now i get a line in 2D gfx, like when im surfing inet or w/e so i was wondering if anyone else had any other fixes. Right at this moment im downloading old drivers like 21.81. Do you guys have any other fixes does anyone else have a problem like this? please reply
