Strange http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/tongue.gifartion the disk, restart, no partion table!
I can partion the hard disk, but after rebooting the computer, there is no partions at all!
I use fdisk and partion magic to do this , both failed.

Sounds like your hard drive is dieing, have you run a scandisk program on it to see if/how many bad sectors/clusters it has?
