I have installed a Lifeview TV capture card for a client but cannot get the picture size to fill the screen without affecting the resolution of the pic.
Max achievable size without affecting = approx 10x13 cm on a 17" monitor.
must I change some screen settings or the VGA card??? Current = 4Meg

My pinnicale system t.v. capture card (installed 2 nights ago on my athlon600) has a setting next to the screen size setting, think it says affect, where I can pick standard ratio, wide screen ratio, or I can manually adjust the ratio by dragging the sides around. When it is set on standard, and I click on corner to make it bigger, it makes it proportional. Now, my ATI all in wonder card in my Athlon 500 system has been installed for about a month, maybe longer, and I haven't looked for that setting on it, so I am not sure that it exists. I do know it warps the view if I drag the sides or the corner to expand size, but if I pick size of say 640x480, it is proportional.

Also, the pinnacle card required a different driver for my diamond viper 770 32 meg agp video card, because I am running windows Me, and when I installed Me it used windows default driver, but when I reloaded the driver from the manufacturer cd, it worked fine (that was just choppy tv watching.

As for those people who are thinking about a T.V. capture card, I bought my pinnacle card for 29.99 on www.ubid.com, (http://www.ubid.com,) and got it in a week (I had to use an auction, and with shipping it was 39.96, and I knwo it would cost much more to ship overseas and stuff). But, it is sweet watching T.V. on my 19 inch monitor...

What is your screen resolution. Your video tuner may only be capable of displaying a 640 x 480 image. If your computer's video display is set for higher resolution, the tuner video will not fill the screen.
