My problem is that all of a sudden my monitor chages to a yellow color and then changes back to normalafter a while. What is happening? I'd appreciate any input.

There are several possible causes:

1. The vga cable is not fully inserted into the port on the back of the computer.

2. There is a loose connection somewhere along the vga cable

3. There is a fault within the monitor.

Also check wether there is a magnetic field around your monitor. This can be caused by speakers, radio's etc.

It's not my fault!?

check the pins in your monitor plug(that plugs in to back of comp), make sure none are broken or bent. all the pins send colours to your monitor so if you geta yellow tint one of the pins isnt workin properly or may be broken
