When i try to connect my camcorder to my comp it doesnt owrk. i follow the instruction throughly. and it cant commmunicate with my camcorder.. what can i do? i called tech support and they said that its my comp.. but they arent even sure.. can any one help???

There are so many combinations of cameras and computers, give us a little more to work with. Make and model of camera, computer and what exactly it does or does not do, and any error codes you receive.

its a PV-DV200 by panasonic digital camcorder my computer is well i dont know.. i rebuilt this computer from different parts. but i can say this... its a AMD-K62 3D 300 with 80 megs edo ram and pc 100 ram.... the connection is for me to transfer mah pix into the comp... the error is saying that it cant communicate with the camera and its suppsoe to find out the com port and buad auto...but it wont... i dontkknow what to do...

Did you connect the camera before the computer was turned on? Have you loaded all the software for camera?
And on a different subject, I didn't think you could use EDO and SDRAM at the same time.
