Hi its me again well i got his pc to work and i formated his HD and loaded windows 98 but now it tells me that he is missing some files on it.And i dont know where to get them.Can some one help me with this please here are the files he needs.

1- vnetbios.vxd
2- s3 trio64v+pci765
3- creative sb awe64PnP
4- pci communacations divice
5- creative awe64 wave midi


i just dont know what to do to get them for him.

The missing file are for device drivers.

1. vnetbios.vxd sholud be on the Win98 cd use SFC to get it. Run SFC and it should come up missing then ask where to look for it. Put in the Win98 cd and direct it to search there.

4. You need to find out what chipset the modem is (Rockwell, Lucent etc) abecause it is looking for the drivers for an internal software(winmdoem) modem.

Each of the downloads should have installation instructions in a readme file with the download.
