Hi,

It sounds like you didn't copy the system files over when you formatted the hard drive. To do this use format c:/s Having formatted already you can just restart the computer with the win95 startup disk in and when you get to the prompt type sys c and this will copy the files over. At this point you will have load you drivers for the cd rom, then you will be able to run setup from the win95 cd. Also you have the option if you can get your hands a win98 bootdisk by choosing with cd rom support (the first menu that pops up) and running setup from there. You can try www.bootdisk.com (http://www.bootdisk.com) and download it from there. A very good resource can be found at www.pcguide.com/proc/setup/hdd-i.html (http://www.pcguide.com/proc/setup/hdd-i.html) on formatting and setup. Hope this helps.
