I have a Dell GXa machine that I recently replaced from a lady's office. I need to get some of the information off of the hard drive; however when I went to boot it back up in my workroom, the monitor quit working (never did come back on). The HD and everything else seems to be getting power and working. I have tried several different video cards as well as different monitors and cords. The machine worked just fine with the old moonitor from the office. The operating system is Windows 95.


Anyone with any ideas on how to get this monitor working again??? I would really appreciate some help.

It might be set for a specific monitor, the best thing I can think of is get the monitor from the lady and try it.
