I am running Windows XP

I have a TV card by Pinnacle systems called studio PCTV Rave with telelext
and film editing tools.

I have found that my TV software is not working please help?

Have you gone to Pinnacle looking for XP updates?

I have downloaded these drivers for my Pinnacle tv for Windows XP called:

StudioPCTVPCI402a.exe

I am still getting the same problem:
PCTV vision hardware not found or is in use
The PCTV device is already in use or not connected:
Please connect the h/w and try again.
If another application is open that uses PCTV(studio, Radio, PCTV Twain drivers) please close it

What should I do?
Should I unstall the card?
Unstall the software?
And then try reinstallation?

Boot into safe mode and go to device manager....remove all occurances of the card there and then reboot and try the installstion again....if that doesn't do it, then remove the card and all traces of the software and redo it....

How do I boot up in safe mode?
I have tried pressing the delete button but this just goes into CMOS.

<f8> will bring up a start-up menu and <f5> should take you into Safe-mode directly....press the key after POST.
