I request yours recommendation To adapt me a complete test card that has the ability To identify troubleshoots in dead pc.
Every company To them I wrote on the internet claim that their product is the most good and actually try to offer me things that not from tasty me. notwithstanding that I explained in detail from them my requests.
most of the cards are destined to the manufacturers of PC.
They cost much money and I even can not test them from close
I am a privet end user, I mean to open a little workshop and to give service and troubles repair of hardware in the computer.

I don't desire a card that identify troubles until chipset level!!( Most of the cards offer this )
because I don't have the ability to repair built in parts on the motherboard, to whom there is?
Compared with this, I really search after a test card (hardware ) that know To identify Troubles like As appears down :

Motherboard As one unit.
power supplier.
Processor
Computer problems even when the monitor keyboards or disk drivers are not working.
Faulty adapter cards.
Ram memory.
In other words everything that can be replaced with spare parts.
Irq Dma ability to identify resolve and prevent configuration conflicts.

I don't know of a card that will do your troubleshooting for you, I normally use my brain and the process of elimination. That's why I've studied PC repair for 2 years.

Troubleshooting specific components often involves replacing the component with a known good one to see if it works, or trying the suspect component in a working machine.

Troubleshooting motherboards involves ruling out everything else possible, even to the extent of trying every single component on another motherboard, in extreme cases.

Troubleshooting CPU's is usually about the same, try the CPU in another motherboard.

Same for memory, try known good memory, and try the suspect memory in a working machine. It helps to know the conditions that indicate faulty memory, and associated error messages.

IRQ and DMA conflicts can be identified in the Device Manager, or by running MSD in DOS. That's one of its functions, and if you look around on the net some good software is available that will list all IRQ, DMA and I/O addresses in use by the machine.

If the monitor is not working, try a known good monitor, and try the suspect monitor on another machine. If the keyboard isn't working try another one.

Basically the same thing all around...or buy machine specific cards for every manufacturer...if they're available.

Just to add...there are a few cards specifically designed to diagnose problems with the motherboard. You attach the card to the mobo and power on the system the card then gives you lcd error codes that can be found in the accompanying book. The POST card is offered from several diff companies. The best way to look is do a search on Yahoo for post card diagonostics. Unless you just want to actually tests motherboards on a regular basis I would follow Pete's troubleshooting advice.
