I have a newer system (about two months old). This morning when I booted up, the mouse cursor was gone. No error, nothing. I re-booted in safe mode and have a cursor and am able to use the mouse. I re-booted back to Normal mode and the mouse is gone. Any ideas? I checked the settings and they all looked normal as far as I can see. I'm sure it's not a hardware problem since I tried two different ones and they both work in Safe Mode but not normal mode. ???? I'd appreciate any help I can get!

I would try (Which OS are you uusing, win95/98...) to set windows to find harware in your computer and if it gives you the option; reinstall the mouse drivers. It will be done automatically by the wizard,
Hope it helps,

Thanks for the help. I ran scandisk yesterday then when I re-booted, it said new hardware found and installed it. I'm not sure what happened to it initially or why it worked in safe mode. Very weird.
Thanks again for the quick response!
