I have a "Zyxel External ISDN Terminal Adapter". I have installed it on my Serial Port-B, but I cannot get a connection with my ISP. It shows up in my "System" screen and under my "Modems" listing, but still not connection. It does not even dial when I click the Dial-Up Networking. It is Win'98 & Dial-Up compatiable. I have manually named the serial ports in my BIOS. What else can be done?

Is this NEW ISDN service? If so, you have to get the phone company involved to get all of the "parameters" from them to get it working. If you are trying to use it as a modem for a regular phone line...it aint gonna work http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif You have to have an ANALOG 56k or v90 modem to connect through a regular phone line.I hope I understood your problem correctly.

Yes, I have heard that from someone else also. Thank you for the advice.
I do have a new ISDN Line that the phone company installed about 2 weeks ago.

Randy's right you'll need to get the ISP and your telcom to help you out.
Some things you may need for your ISDN setup are:
ISDN phone numbers (BRI numbers)
SPID numbers
ISDN switch type (optional)
PPP authentication
Data Link Encapsulation
and of course the Userid, password and phone number to dial into.
Good Luck http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif

Comment heard from a Klingon programmer.
"Klingon function calls do not have 'parameters'. They have 'arguments'....and they ALWAYS WIN THEM!"
