I have an Epson Stylus 400 printer and a Packard Bell 366 computer with 64 mg of ram. I am not sure if it is the printer or the memory. I have a digital camera with Photosuite 4. I can print one picture okay, but when I try to print more than one picture per page, I get 1/4 of a picture. Should I add more memory? Is there a way to allocate more memory to the printer? Any responses would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Welcome, Juie! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif You should always include your Windows version. It can make a significant difference in
how to diagnose the problem. Are there any error messages displayed when this happens?

Sorry, I'm new to this. I am running Windows 98. I recently had troubles by updating my Windows 98 off of Microsoft and then trying to restore to find my fax program. Thoroughly messed up my computer. I took it to my computer guy and he fixed it. I just reloaded the drivers and have gone onto Epson to see if there was any updates for my driver. There was not. Any help would be appreciated.

sounds like possibly corrupted drivers.. had you tried to uninstall, and re-install ??
edit: not WINdoze, but the printer!

I would agree, but only if you're also having trouble printing from other programs. If this is
the only one, then it's more than likely a memory and/or a spooling problem.
The easiest way to correct this is of course add more memory. This is probably not possible
with the printer, but may be for the PC. Other things you can do:
Run Disk Cleanup -- Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools
Clear the Documents menu -- Right-click a blank area in the taskbar, click Properties, click the
Start Menu Programs tab. In the Documents menu box, click the Clear button.
Run Disk Defragmenter -- Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools
Try those three steps, then reply back if you still have problems. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif

have to say,
I had a problem of unknown origin (suddenly) one day. Printing ANY M$-Works word processor document , it would print (spool) 78 times !!
Everything else worked perfectly.
This is why I suggest you go HERE (http://support.epson.com/hardware/printer/inkjet/sc400_/filelibrary.html) and get uncorrupted drivers from the manufacturer, re-install, and most likely you should be ok.
