View Full Version : Problem using scanner with Adobe
My system crashed and I had to reinstall windows 98 and all programs including PhotoDeluxe Home Edition 3 and my Canon scanner. Now when I try to scan a photo using Adobe, I get a box that says "the requested acquire model was not found. Make sure it is in your Plug-ins folder." The scanner tests ok and seems to work ok when I use window's Imaging. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/frown.gif

Try reinstalling the software without the scanner a printer plugged in and after you reinstall the software hook your scanner and printer back up. Make sure to restart after installation. This should help if not email canon or your scanner manufacturer they should know but they ll take forever to answer it.
