Are you overclocking anything?

Does the mfr recommend any BIOS settings like Shadow, Aperture, etc?

If not, enter BIOS setup, select 'Load Defaults', save and exit.

foxx,

Most likely you just dont have the vid drivers installed correctly
Go in the device mgr and remove all references to your vid card and then try to install it again

Read the manual that came with your card on how to "properly" install the card and drivers

Dont forget to remove any references to it before you begin......

I would remove it from Safe Mode, and remove ALL instances of the card listed, make sure you get all ghost drivers. They could be causing windows to see the card as a new one even though the drivers are supposed to be installed.
