View Full Version : Slow printing

I need a quick answer .... I have a workstation with Win95 with an HP 4000 printer. The user was getting Spool 32 errors, so I made sure the spool setting were set to RAW. It didn't make a difference. I changed it to "Print directly to printer", and it really slowed it down. I changed it back to "spool print jobs". I'm not sure why it is so slow all of a sudden. Everything seems to be like it was before I made any changes, and now it prints one page, waits, prints one page, waits... etc.

Can anyone please help me out????

Thanks!

First thing I would try is removing the printer from the Printers folder and re-installing it. Often just reinstalling the drivers will cure most printer problems.

Then if you still have trouble check BIOS, I think in the Integrated Periferals section, and set the LPT port to EPP.
