Reference Outlook Express.

After loading Encyclopaedia Britannica and its included update of Internet Explorer to version 5., I have lost the facility to print emails.

A Print instruction is ignored, with no print dialogue box appearing.

All other Print commands are met with the normal box and subsequent printing. This includes web pages.

Has anyone out there experienced this problem and how did you overcome it.

In anticipation,

Alan Orchard.

I don't believe IE 5 is the newest version of Microsoft's Internet browser. You might try updating to IE 5.5 off of microsoft's web site or their ftp site. It's . Another possibility could be that you need a new driver file for your printer. When was the last time you updated it? If it's been a while, you might try getting a device driver file for your printer via the Internet. You can get the file off of the website of the company that made your printer. (Example: If it's a canon, go to www.canon.com) (http://www.microsoft.com) Good luck.

You will find that quite often when an update for a major Microsoft product comes out that many device manufacturers also release driver updates because the updated Microsoft program expects more out of the device. So try updating the printer driver and check the Outlook Express settings check under print and see if your printer is set up correctly.
