What verision of Windows are you using?

Are you trying to install the drivers from a Cd or are they the latest ones downloaded from Lexmark?

Make sure that you are trying to install the drivers for your version of Windows...also try downloading the latest drivers.

Hi,
I downloaded it from the Lexmark site. It's the right one.

Hmmm...then try downloading it again...it may be a corrupted download.

Also, I am assuming this is a self installing package...sre ther instructions included to do a manual install?

Have you check for viruses?
Try running your virus scanner and make sure its updated or it will not catch it. Hope this helps you out.

had you checked in start>> settings>> printers to see if there are any already installed printers??

if so remove them and start over again.

sounds like what mjc said- corrupt installation of printer drivers.

let us know if this works.

also you should BE SURE to NOT have your lexmark printer plugged in until you install from the CD provided by lexmark, and to additionally NOT use the microsft add printer wizard.

Use the lexmark install CD only.

I removed the double posts, I think this might have been during the system upgrade at PAir, which you folks probably know about already.

Sorry it took so long, I was very busy with other responsibilities and the band I'm in had to play 150 miles away, which was a very long night, so I haven't been online much the past few days. I'm catching up though...
