Hello,

I recently switched to DSL and my friend installed an adapter inside (10/100Mbps Adapter) and 4 external boxes. It dials up quick and quietly
but it also GOES OFF quick!!! I can barely stay online, like I can't even finish reading a mail before getting cut off. Browsing web seems to last longer but it doesn't stay online more than a couple of pages worth.

Please give me advices what to check first??? I have W98 SE and Presario.
I checked the dial up setting and *disconnect if idel for...* is not on.

Is it likely Windows setting or more of physical connections?
