Help!! Last night i was surfing on the net and my computer just blinked off with out me touching anything. When i pushed th power button I got nothing. Not a beep not even a light. All of the connections seem to be there. The computer is a refurbished sony vaio with a KMD 550 processor that i bought just over three months ago. I am not that great with computers so any help will e greatly appreciated.

try and clean out the connections on the plug, maybe something got buried in there, and dont just check the connections, but physically remove and re-insert the plug, maybe check to see if a different cord will work, it could be as simple as that

when I put it all back together, it was only missing two bolts

If this is that laptop from another post did you try running it on the
battery. I have no laptop experience. I'm sure somebody here does. Maybe
the AC adapter is bad?

What's up with that?

kius_kill, if you are looking for extra reading then by all means post your e-mail address. Otherwise, keep that to yourself. I'll inform the mods and the'll come by and edit that out. Also, the last post in this thread is from 2001- way long ago. Please don't dig up old threads.
