Hi, I just upgraded my sons pc using a Gigabyte GA7ZXE motherboard and a duron 950 CPU, however i had to download new drivers for his voodoo banshee card to play jedi outcast (openGL problem) however when i shut his PC down after getting everything working and running smoothly...it would not restart?, when i turn on the pc all the lights on the keyboard remain on and there doesn't seem to be a signal to the monitor, there are no beeps and everything else (hdd cdrom etc) work and seem to start as normal...how do i get past this problem?? i can't even get to the bios.

Could be some kind of interrupt conflict and the motherboard not sensing the video card correctly - just a wild guess. If the video card is a PCI card, try it in a different PCI slot.

Otherwise I would try a different video card just to get the thing working again. Then maybe you can get to bios and see if anything is screwed up.

With an ATX power supply the lights on the keyboard
will come on.

Need to check and find out if the Motherboard is getting
any power and go from there.

Is the fan on the Heatsink operational? Providing it is
plugged in to a fan header on the board.

Please re-seat everything and re-check all your wiring
plug-ins and connections and we'll go from there.

Luck.
