I got p-11 233 bare bone system and added hdd cdrom and video card .when i
start the system it gives the bios info then detects hard drive and cdrom but
does't boot up from cd rom and gives error "reading error press ctl+alt+del to
restart the sysytem . it doest have flopy drive .Please help me out .

You may have to install a floppy drive, not all computers support booting from a cd (particularly older systems)

If you go into the BIOS setup, there may be an option for what devices to boot from (which one to try 1st, 2nd, etc)

Depending on the bios, you can enter the screen a few ways, award uses the delete key, compaq uses f10 (I think) and gateway may use f1...

I'd check that first, and set cdrom as the 1st boot device if you can...and check with the mobo/bios manufacturer, there may be a bios update that enables cdrom boot...
