I am using windows xp
when I leave my computer unattended for any length of time I usually find that my mouse has locked up and I am forced to restart the system in order to get cursor movement.
Any help will be appreciated.

Do you have any power management (standby or hibernate) settings enabled? screensaver?

If so try disabling them and seeing if that cures it....

Taken out screensaver and power savers.... now ok.
