My mainboard AGP slot is 2x Level 1.0 I would like to install an ATI All-In-Wonder 128 PRO video card. The card requirement is 4x/2x (Level 2.0 compliant). Will a card requiring Level 2.0 compliance work in a Level 1.0 socket?

Supposedly modern AGP cards are fully backwards compatible, however you may find that that old of a standard wont supply the proper power your card will need, not too mention it will limit it's performance.
