Anyone help with a problem i am having using a boot up disk (probably due to lack of experience)?
Problem started with only being able to get 2 screens in before everthing coming to a halt with a disk request message. Restarted with boot disk, everthing seems to proceed well (floppy drive working through out) until i end up with an A prompt.
What do i enter to proceed to completion of boot up?
Any help appreciated.

Just above A prompt is listed CD Rom Drive, might be E: Type in CD Rom dive letter E: hit enter, then type setup. This is if you are trying to install windows.
What are you using the boot disk for?

Sorry.... but a "boot disk" per se isn't going to get
you thru the completion of boot-up. It is leading you
to the A: prompt which is a DOS prompt. At this point
you can format the Hard Drive and install an operating
system.

chris: Give us a clear, detailed description of the problem.
What, specifically, are you trying to do?
What happened to cause the current problem?
Was any hardware or software installed very recently?
What OS is being used?
