Off hand I would say that you have some corrupted OS files. It would be helpful if you could post your system's specifications, e.g. OS, hardware.

Also, is this a recent occurrence or has it been a problem for some time? In the case of a recent occurrence, note any system crashes or new software or hardware installs.

Be patient, there are a lot of helpful, knowledgeable people on this forum. I am sure someone will give you some sage advice.
