Mouse on my computer doesn't work.
Sometimes Windows 98 shows me a message
that it could detect my mouse. If I restart
my computer it back to detect.
Why?

what type of mouse do you have ? PS2 or Serial? If it is a serial mouse, the BEST chance is that the IRQ the mouse wants to use is taken (usually by the modem).....if it is a PS2 mouse, it could be the mouse is not plugged in firmly, it's a bad mouse or a bad PS2 connector on motherboard, or possibly an IRQ issue. You can find out if you have two devices trying to use one IRQ by going to "System Information".....it's located in Accessories/System Tools/System Information....lots of good stuff in there you can check!
