Just installed a new OS from a bootable CD Rom on a different partition (not on this one, so here i do not have any problem. So, the problem must be OS related...). Now my keyboard is acting as qwerty instead of what i have, i.e. Azerty.
i replaced the corresponding lines in my autoexec.bat and entered in a manual manner some "readable" corrections in the registry in order to get back to my azerty keyboard. But... no solution.
i removed the keyboard, booted up again and made a new install from my original windows CD Rom: still no solution
I'm running Win 98 SE

Any other thoughts guys ?

I am thinking you have the option to change the keyboard configuration through Accessibiliy Options or through the Keyboard folder in Control Panel. If you haven't already checked these out, you may want to do so. You may have to look at reinstalling due to the changes you already made.

Which language are you using for your AZERTY keyboard? ContolPanel<>Keyboard<>Language (eg French) might help out.
