I just threw down for a stick of 256MB RAM from www.crucial.com (http://www.crucial.com) and when I selected my mobo there was an advisory message from Crucial indicating that the SPD incorrectly identifies CAS 2 RAM and that you would have to manually set it in the BIOS. I currently have a 256MB (OEM from a pc shop) that I was told was CAS 2, but I've not had any luck identifying it as such using Sandra or that German CSTD (? can't remember actual name...but it sure provided a lot of detail). When I set it to CAS 2 in the BIOS I incurred several problems, etc. I will post back in this topic as to whether the Crucial RAM makes a diff.
