Windows 98 is giving me error message as follows;
Connection Manager
Service Profile is damaged re-install service profile

Could you tell me please what the "service profile" is and how to re-install it?

Do you have Internet Connection Sharing installed on your PC in Network Neighborhood properties? If so, you can uninstall it by going to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, Windows Setup tab, Internet Tools and unchecking the box to remove it. Then reboot and reinstall it from the same path.
