Can anyone tell me if there are any problems installing Easy CD Creator 4 or 5 and Nero 5 on the same HDD,like conflicts etc, or should they be installed on different drives or partitions?
Yes there can be conflicts if they are installed on the same computer...usually it is best to choose one or the other and not try them both at the same time.

Yes and yes.
Generally it is a good idea to avoid installing two CD burner software programs on the same HD/partition. It is possible that you might be able to do it if you were very careful to make sure neither had any memory resident pieces, but even then one will probably conflict with the other if you run them both at some time. Probably a good idea to use a totally different boot option if you want both.

Hi,
Have managed to get Nero 5.8, Roxio Platinum 5 with the latest update pack for Windows XP from the Adaptec site, and Clone CD 4.0 and the latest version of InCD.
I found that to load on Nero, untick the burning programs as they are installed in msconfig startup folder when loading, then InCD, followed by Roxio customised install that left out direct CD. Make sure no programs load at start-up or into the tray otherwise you'll definately get a conflict, and I'd advise backing up your system fully before thinking of trying to install them aswell.
This worked well for me and is still doing ok, but as many people have said its easier and safer to stick with one or the other.
whatever you decide hope this helps.
