My computer was working fine yesterday. Today it could not see my hard drive. I removed the hard drive and installed a used drive with Win98.
Now the system tries to load and as it is loading it tries to load GDI.EXE and then it shuts the compuetr down. Anyone know what this means?
I put the defective hard drive into snother computer and it still does not load.

Appreciate any feedback because I am stuck for next action to take.
