I have a question... is anyone familiar with an SN3200 PCI adapter card? I am currently using one with no problem on Win95, but my question is can I use it with Win2000 pro? I did install it but it is using Realtek drivers and it's not working. Do I have to make sure it's using the SN3200 drivers? I have them on a disk from the other machine, so I have them, but I'm worried if I install the right driver (not the one the pc is defaulting to), it will hurt the 2000 system. Do I sound terribly confused?????
I'm really anxious to hear any suggestions.... thanks!

If you want to know for sure if this card works on windows 2000 you can always check the Hardware Compatability List that Microsoft has for Windows 2000. I think it is at www.microsoft.com/hcl/ (http://www.microsoft.com/hcl/) but I cannot be for sure... but if you do a search if will definately find it. Also, when you say its not working, what do you mean by that? If Windows 2000 found and installed the Realtek drivers for you card, then it 'should' work properly. What is the status of the NIC in your device manager? Also, what settings/troubles are you having exactly?

It won't connect to the internet...the modem light is flashing and it looks like it is connecting but I can't even ping anywhere. I think it must be the driver. I was afraid to try the SN3200 driver for fear of doing something irrepairable to the system. Maybe I will try a different NIC and see what happens.
Thanks so much. I'll let you know what happens.
