Can anyone help me to solve this problem please!!! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/frown.gif

My problem .....

You are going to install a network for a company that is growing rapidly. The current design requires 40 computers, with expansion to 100 in the next one year. Several departments located at different floors need to inter connected. Explain what type of network you suggest. What type of cabling and netwrok technology you would like to use. How will you link up these computers. What type software and hardware you would like to use. How will you connect them to Internet. DRAW a rough network DIAGRAM if required.

Please help me solve this problem. You can either mail me through my email address at: khan8686@yahoo.com
or just reply from here.

Thank You.

I sometimes wonder how people get here thinking it's a Homework site.

Personally I think you should do your own homework, and have a nerve asking us to.

If you were to have an actuall computer problem yourself, or had any question we would try to assist..... this is a bit much. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/eek.gif

The purpose of this site is to help with actual computer problems, not homework answers. If your problem is an actual one then I'm sure that help can be found, if it is homework then a good search engine (I use and recommend Google (http://www.google.com/)), and your textbook should provide adequate information for your needs.

I ran a search on Google and it return 131,000 hits using keywords from your post.

For future reference please post in the one appropriate topic area only. This forum is fairly more active in responding than some of the others so it is not necessary to deluge the board with the same post to speed up a response. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/frown.gif

Google is your best bet try using "setting up a network".
