hi i have an athlon t-bird at 1000 mhz.its on a kt7a raid board with 256 pc 133 sdram, 20 gig hd, cd rom, 350 watt power supply. sometimes when i try to boot my comp it wont post. all that happens is i get one long beep then 2 short. i have to restart my computer at least about 20- 30 and clear the cmos a few times before it will boot right. i know its not the mobo, ram, video card, or power supply because i exchanged them all. if any one has any ideas please please let me know.

had you replaced the battery ??

did you build this, or has this just happened recently ??

is it an AMD APPROVED power supply ??

my 800mhz T-bird has only a 250w ps. ( 751 chip)

the battery is new. the power supply is a 350 watt amd approved power supply. i did build it my self. had problems from the start. im thinking the video card is in compatible with my mobo or cpu.

What video card are you using? I've seen some of the mobo's for Athalon not get along with certain vid cards.
