I recently purchased and installed a new Asus A7S333 mobo, and everything is working right excepty the sound. It's only coming out of one (the "right") speaker.

So far I've tried changing the speakers (to check the wiring), digging into the computer based volume control to check the balance, uninstalling the driver and, first, reinstalling the driver, and then installing a different driver (sounds even better, but still only coming out of one speaker).

I've tried contacting the tech support of the people I bought it from. They were absolutly no help at all. I've contacted the tech support of Asus (which on their web site tell you to contact the vendor tech support first), and I'm still going back and forth with them.

I was just hoping someone here had come across this problem and knew exactly how to fix it.

Help anyone?

If the speakers work ok on another system, then make sure the speaker plug is inserted all the way into the sound card's audio out port. Also, try wiggling the plug around inside the port. If the latter fixes it, then the port is defective. Return the MB.
It's also possible that the onboard audio adapter is defective.

Right speaker means a speaker with on off switch and amplifire ckt,it works properly then problem is in lefft speaker or wire which connect left speaker with right one. First check speaker with another pc if it works fine then the problem is in port or mobo but most probaly it was speaker or its wire so first check it.
