I have a SCSI 4G drive that is setup like this -

Mbytes Usage
C:1 A PRI DOS C-DRIVE 55 FAT16 1%
2 EXT DOS 4040 99%

This hard drive was given to me and previously had Linux (i believe) installed. What i need to do is FDISK it again so that the primary and extended dos partitions change so that i can load Windows 98 on. Ive tried using FDISK to delete the PRI & EXT partitions but it wont allow me.

Anyone got any suggestions ?????

Welcome to PCGuide!!

If you know the brand of the drive, go to the manufacturer's web site and download their utilities. Zero out the drive and then Fdisk to partition.

Good luck,

Thanks for the advice.
I managed to find a free partition manager on ranish.com that enabled me to partition my hard disk.
