now my monitor...i also don't know how to describe it... it is like the screen is "flicker"(not sure the spelling) and like tends to shrink to the center become(into a line).... but now after i slightly "touch" the plug behind my monitor, the screen is much stable but still "flickering"

If touching the plug makes a difference, sounds like a connection or power problem. Do you have a steady source of power? If you do, you may have a loose wire in the monitor. If so, DO NOT open the monitor unless you are an expert, take it to a qualified repair person.

I would try reseating the video card and I would make sure you don't have any speakers or other magnetic things near the monitor. Also, once it is stable, don't touch it.:)

Ok, if it is onboard there is nothing to reseat, but I would certainly make sure the connector is tight. I would again wonder if the cable is loose inside the monitor.

Also, the power I was talking about would be the wall plug, not the computer power supply.

any chance you could just try another monitor? Could be something worked loose inside the monitor and like budfred said before, you don't wanna go messing around in there.
