After installing win98 I have a trouble with Teac40x.
At first boot up with floppy, I installed win98 with DOS drivers on drive C.
When Windows start up, I cant see CD in control panel, but it exist in explorer .
Moving out DOS drivers CD will not appear in explorer as in control panel.
Can anyone know answer about this?

PS.: how can I test memory module ? I have two but i dont know which is damaged

Welcome, ****ZA! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

You can test the memory modules by leaving one in the lowest-numbered bank
(0 or 1, depending on how they are numbered) and removing the other one.

Then start up, and see if you have problems. If not, replace with the second module.

This assumes that one module is enough to meet the minimum requirement for Windows.

Handle the modules carefully, by the edges only, not the contact area
or the chips themselves, and ground yourself to avoid static build up.
