Hey you all. I saw this thing and thought it was pretty cool. take a look at the specs (http://www.evertech.com/pdfs/thermagic/thermagicccspis.pdf) , picture (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?sku=E24-0091) and review (http://www.monkeyreview.com/reviews/index.php?action=fullreview&id=181) and tell me what you think. Its a CPU cooler that also doubles as a Case fan. Read the review for a better understanding of the thing. The company that makes it is Evergreen Technologies. For some reason the review by monkeyreview.com is much more detailed than their website. i dont think they have hired any marketing personel yet because their website it lacking alot of info. but the product itself has beat a thermaltake volcano 9 in testing. I'm really interested in it and might buy it depending on your guys input.
thanks,
chad.

Ok, I've read all the links you posted. I was quite impressed that the contraption kept the guy's overclocked processor at very respectable temps.
There is only one problem however. Noise. The reviewer mentions that the 7K rpm fan is quite loud.
Hmmm, do I want to spend $100 to have mediocre temps with added noise? Maybe, maybe not. If I really wanted to tinker, which I just love to do anyway, I might just go for it and see what's up with it. There was mention that it will come in two different flavors, one for the ordinary user and one for the gamer. I assume the one for the ordinary user will be quieter.
Good temps depend on a variety of things, not just the HSF. So anyway, with all this rambling over with, I will say, yes, if money is no object and you think you have a good cooling environment to complement that gizmo, then go for it.
If you decide to go for it, post pics and specs! :)
