would any one care to give me info on the correct step by step way to install a upgrade on a ati rage128 video card, (32m) i use to have ati rage (8m) and i install driver no problem but for some reason this card the step i took, it does not seen to come out well, i do a selective startup delete driver from device manager, but i get the suregcreate key fail error, i got a black screen as it seen the vga video driver failed to kick in, it seen ati info is all base now a radeon product there seen to forgot there other out there as well

Have you perhaps got an anti-virus-auto-protection-programm (nav for
example) running while trieing to install the drivers? This can cause
strange troubles with the new drivers.

no i did a startup with all the program close off it call a selective startup in MSCONFIG
