I am wondering where to get a new powersocket for the back of my laptop, as my pin connector does not touch so + / - cannot recharge/power my laptop. The transformer is ok, its just unless I hold my plug in at an angle, i get no power to my poor laptop.
Anyone know where I can get a part to solder onto my board? so I can plug my power coard in??

Also, I just did a Google (http://www.google.com) search with "toshiba parts" and there were plenty of hits.

As with the link above, they invite emails with your part request... ;)

Contact any authorized branded service center. They will be able to repair the plug. But Toshiba parts will require you to change the unit as a whole.

I have a Toshiba 2545CDS. The part I am looking for is really a part (not a peripherial or upgrade etc...). I need to get a powersocket for the 18v pin to go into.
