is this a decent brand of cdrw drive? anyone have any reviews for it? im looking at one at tigerdirect.com it has a 48x12x48 drive for $70 but a $30 mail in rebate for a net of $40. just tell me what you guyz think of these drives.

If you are in the US and near some of the big chain stores, that Buslink and a couple of other brands are on sale today for $20 after rebates. It is part of the Xmas shopping kick off. Buslink has been around and I think they have been making optical drives for a while, but they are not rated at the top. For the money though, it would be hard to go wrong. I would urge you to check the ratings on TigerDirect before you buy from them. They recently got very poorly rated by www.pcworld.com and not so good at www.resellerratings.com .
