PCI latency is to high.Device could hog the bus for too long.

What does that mean and what should I do about it?

Where did you get this info from?? don't tell me a free on line bench mark??

you can try setting latency to lower in bios though but wont help that much really, just a delay timer for your pci bus i believe so it waits a little before it sends stuff to the processor to process.
If you're not having any problems, freezes or looping sounds, etc., you can ignore.

Basically PCI latency specify's just how long a particular device can "hold" the PCI
bus and use it itself. Many HW/driver manufacturers found they could
increase performance SLIGHTLY by setting this value very high. 248 in this instance is being set by the nVidia drivers, it's overridding what the BIOS is set to. The setting in your BIOS can be overridden by software, as it might be in this case.
This means your video card is hanging onto the PCI bus for as long as
possible before sharing it with others. this helps video performance (very slightly, VERY slightly) at the cost of smoother mulitasking for the rest of the system.

so not knowing where you got this info don't know what to tell you??

Sorry about that! It was a warning listed for my Nic card. It was a report from a free software I downloaded. I saw the WARNING! and thought it was something terible! Thanks for explaining what it is!

:)
