I recently installed a cd-rw drive to my pc, and it worked fine until I installed the "MS-DOS CD-ROM EXTENSIONS WITH DEVICE DRIVER" that came with the CD DRIVER (I didn't read the instruction that said "WARNING DO NOT INSTALL THE MS-DOS EXTENSION IF YOU ARE USING WINDOWS!!!).

So I went to control panal -> systems, to check if there are any conflicts. But none except that my PC isn't running on optimum performance(THE CD_RW DRIVE) 'cause I installed that MS-DOS thing (THE DISK THAT CAME WITH THE SYSTEM)!
BASICALLY I just uninstalled the stuff I installed, but that disk(MS-DOS thing) changed my config.sys and autoexc.bat configuration. NOW I CAN"T USE MY COMPUTER 'CAUSE ALL MY DRIVERS ARE UNDER THE DOS COMMAND. THE WHOLE DOS THING IS causing this trouble!

ANYONE, PLEASE HELP.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY CONFIG.sys and AUTOEXEC.bat back to normal?

THIS IS HOW AUTOEXEC.BAT looks like:

@ECHO OFF
PATH=c:\windows;c:\windows\command;c:\ibmtools;c:\
SET BLASTER=A220 I5 D1 T4
LH DOSKEY
LH C:\CDROM\MSCDEX /D:MSCD000

AND THIS IS HOW config.sys looks like:

DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\HIMEM.SYS
DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\EMM386.EXE RAM
DOS=HIGH,UMB
rem DEVICEHIGH=c:\windows\command\vide-cdd.sys /D:IBMCD001
rem device=c:\windows\cwdinit.exe /A
LASTDRIVE=Z
DEVICEHIGH=C:\CDROM\GSCDROM.SYS /D:MSCD000 /v
