I have just become the owner of a new computer that has Windows XP installed on it. I am trying to connect my Nikon Coolpix 880 camera to the computer and have been unsuccessful. I had no problems connecting it to my old computer which used Windows 98. When I try to connect it to the new computer, I keep getting messages saying it cannot be installed and one message said to connect to the Internet but this still proved unsuccessful. I do not have an installation disc for the camera and I've even tried connecting to the Nikon site but could not even find the Coolpix 880 listed on this site. Can anyone help?
I am struggling with Windows XP!! I've also been trying to connect to the Internet using my NTL connection which I used on my old computer but I haven't a clue what I should be doing! - but I suppose that's another problem for another discussion forum?!
Any help would be greatly appreciated - before I go back to using my old computer and my trusty Windows 98!!
