Hi guys,

I have a question for you guys. I did a fresh install of Win98 on my mom's pc but now the display colors are all screwed up. By that I mean she only gets 16 colors and not 16Bits or 31 Bits colors. How do I fix that nasty problem for her? I am sure it has to do with the video card and I know for a fact that the video card is an on board one.

Any help would be appreciated.

Install the correct Video Drivers will solve this

Check the site for the company that sold and or makes that model and D/L the newest drivers

Check that your display adapter in the device manager is not showing an exclamation mark and set up your video driver..

The system could be running on a standard VGA adapter. Install the relevant drivers for ur display adapter and the display will become a lot more colorful.
